The 11-day event includes seminars, poetry readings, writing sessions, and panel discussions.
The book fest also draws a big number of publishers, making it a place for numerous book agreements to be struck. More Indian writers will be attending this year's festival. SIBF has hosted a number of Malayalam writers over the years.
Many Malayalam writers have expressed a desire to visit SIBF at least once. K. Jayakumar, Kureepuzha Sreekumar, K.V Mohan Kumar, Sarah Joseph, CV Balakrishnan, and others expressed their appreciation for being a part of the literary festival.
This year's event will feature the most recent works from the Malayalam literary scene. K.V Mohan Kumar's novels, such as 'Mahayogi' and 'Pranayathinte Moonnamkannu,' published by Mathrubhumi novels, are also in high demand this year.
